Tudor's history

Founded in 1926, by the same designer as Rolex, Hans Wilsdorf, the Swiss watch brand Tudor is still as appealing as ever, even a century later. Although it was originally intended to be a more affordable option, Tudor has in no way compromised on the quality and craftsmanship that goes into producing its timepieces. The brand offers everyone the means to keep track of time without ever undermining the technical and traditional heritage of its creator.

Set apart by its daring, sporty models, the label is popular among connoisseurs and collectors alike. Launched in 1954, the first Tudor diver's watch was already fulfilling all the demands of the genre. This expertise certainly impressed the French Navy, which, in 1958, began a long-term partnership with the legendary brand.

Also renowned for its signature snowflake hands, a distinctive feature of many of today's models, the Tudor watches are popular as far afield as Australia, where it first established itself shortly after its creation.

Today, this little sister label that is now all grown up has no reason to envy Rolex. Entirely independent, it continues to offer high-tech designs, forever striving for watchmaking excellence.
